Suburban Basketball is a new game where you play as John Basketball, and explore BASKETBALL CITY, this new game will FLOOR YOU with its realistic physics, etc. Cutting edge technology has led to the ultimate basketball simulator, in this game which provides THOUSANDS of hours of basketball gameplay, across a series of objectives over the course of a few days in BASKETBALL CITY. As JOHN BASKETBALL you will meet and converse with many of basketball cities inhabitants and interact with its citizens while rising the ranks and becoming BOSS. Good luck!
What is it
This is a full conversion mod for FreeDoom running in GZDoom. All equip-able items ("weapons") are custom made with original photography. Original music. Dozens of lines of original voice acting. A built from the ground up "journal" feature which updates as you progress. I'm pulling textures and sprites from Doom 2, Hexen, Strife, HacX, TekWar, and Blood (a lot of them are intentionally distorted/discolored). I'm also using some audio from Hexen, HacX as well as NPC audio from GTA San Andreas/Vice City. There are 7 or so missions across one map, as well as hidden collectible items. Any NPC can be interacted with and there are 11 characters that you can engage in dialogue with. Complex NPC AI. Three possible endings.

I think I have all but one collectible, how do I get the one in the shop?
I ended up just noclipping but I'm still curious

Decided to join the insurgents, and got told "great! Welcome to the team!" and I can't find any way to progress from there...

Quick question I obtained all of the collectibles why can I not talk to teh collector? I got the one in his shop, the one in the tunnel, teh one near the area you need to crouc to get to near the mall and 2 in the suburbs. Did I miss something? I saw a gate near where the crashed bio drone is but nobody was able to communicate or hint the code.
the code for that rooftop door is hidden somewhere in the surrounding area
How do you get the one in the shop? did you find a code for the keypad? Where was it?
Unironically peak I love your insanity games too but this is amazing.

very neat game! nice atmosphere, the voice lines of the npc's are hilarious and very 90's. would like to know where to find the colectibles though cause i really wan't to know the ending and i can't find the last 1 or 2!
thank you so much :) truthfully i would suggest not looking for those last collectibles, one of them is absurdly hard to find and the reward you get for collecting all of them is a simple text screen so it will probably make you feel like you wasted your time. my new game tyko's dying together is much more succinctly put together and has a cohesive beginning to end structure and actual, real endings so i would suggest checking that one out!
i'll definitly try out Tyko's Dying over the weekend!

It's a surreal FPS game made with Godot. Probably ompletely different from this game, but the visual similarity is there.
